A journey always begins with a first step. That step is not always easy and, if you or a loved one suffers from an asbestos caused illness, the legal related search should always begin with finding the “right” attorney for you case. So much will depend on that decision, that the need for you to make the correct decision for your particular situation and individual needs cannot be overstated.
As for me, I took that journey on behalf of my family after my father passed away from Mesothelioma in 1981. My personal journey also included representing some heavy equipment companies in the asbestos lawsuit industry throughout the United States. My experience includes handling cases in such far flung venues such West Virginia, St. Louis and nearby counties in Illinois, Chicago, West Virginia, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Texas, Louisiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and others. I have friends and collegues at most of the law firms which specialize in asbestos cases, including those who represent injuried parties and those who represent the companies.
My personal journey changed in 2020. Being over 60 years of age, I knew that I wanted to continue working and to raise the bar one last time. As such, starting in January 2021, I began attending the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs as a Masters in History candidate with the following 2 goals:
1. To help you and all others who are about to enter the asbestos lawsuit industry navigate their way through the first steps. That includes helping you find the right counsel for your situation, helping to educate you about asbestos and the legal system, and ensuring that you have a personal comfort rather than relying on Click Through ads or Television commercials. Don’t worry about paying me or my charging you for the services. If we get to the point that you would like to pay me, then fine; however, my intent is to provide these services to you without cost.
2. To use my experience, library of books, and historical research to write a book over the next 7 to 10 years entitled “The Comprehensive History of Asbestos, 1850 to 2000”. I cannot imagine a bigger challenge or providing a better legacy for the next generation who will need to deal with these issues.
In summary, let me help you. It would be an honor to shine some light on what otherwise can be a very difficult journey.
From this point, I recommend that injured people click on that link and companies which have just been sued click on that link, each on the Navigation Bar, for the next steps in your journey.
