If my discussion last week at https://theasbestosblog.com/?p=11018 on asbestos containing products available one-hundred years ago wasn’t enough, I have attached at https://theasbestosblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/JM-Power-Users-1920-Material.pdf a 167 page publication by Johns-Manville from 1920 which discusses in exquisite detail all of its building materials.

The Table of Contents is as follows:

Also, for those of you who wonder whether JM made products without asbestos fibers, note the sentence at the very bottom of the following page. Pretty clear, at least as of 1920, that all or most JM products contained asbestos fibers.

I think that I am done with the 1920s for a while, but let me know if you have any continuing questions as to what the asbestos world looked like one-hundred years ago by leaving a comment or emailing me at TheAsbestosBlog@gmail.com. Thank you. Marty

For those of you who do not know Maggie Baumgardner, she is likely the most knowledgeable person in the world on the Manville products, having worked for Manville and then ran their document repository for many years before retiring to play with her dogs and enjoying living in Denver, Colorado. I appreciate her input. Marty
